Spring at the Estate, 2023!

Saturday 25th March – Monday 1st May 2023
(Weekends and School Holidays only)
We are EGG-cited to celebrate Spring with EWE!
The Ewes are getting ready to give birth as spring is getting closer and we are incredibly EGG-cited to welcome our visitors to meet our cade lambs and celebrate spring with us. Our on-site livestock team will be on hand to answer any questions you may have about the lambing season, EWE can also get involved in the action and help us bottle feed our cade lambs.
The Spring activities don’t stop there! EGG-splore the Estate and search for the hidden GIANT easter eggs. Collect the letters on your map and receive a tasty chocolate easter egg once you have completed the puzzle. GF/diary free options available. Please allow for up to 60-90mins to complete the hunt.
You will also create a chocolate lolly with the amazing Stamford Heavenly Chocolates, covered in some of your favourite sweets. The chocolate workshop is included in your Spring passport.
Included in your spring passport (£15.00) –
- A Cade Lamb Feeding session
- The GIANT Easter Egg Hunt
- Chocolate workshop ticket
Your spring passport will need to be booked into a timed session, this time slot is for your Chocolate Workshop and NOT your arrival to the estate. Please allow time to get to the main visitor car park (a 10-minute walk from the Visitor Centre), getting to the Visitor Centre to collect your passport, and arrive at the Chocolate Workshop for your ticket time.
Only those completing the activities need a Spring Passport, accompanying adults do not need to have a passport.
The Chocolate workshop MUST be completed before entering the Lamb barn, you cannot enter the Chocolate workshop once you have been in the Lamb Barn - if you need to collect your chocolate lolly after feeding the cade lambs, you can go to the collection desk at the Workshop.
It is imperative that when you leave the Lamb Barn you MUST wash your hands at the hand washing sinks provided (hand sanitiser is not sufficient) and we strongly advice that you wash them again before eating. All children MUST wash their hands with adults supervision. Please note we strongly advise if you are pregnant you do not attend any bottle feeding demonstrations or visit the lambing barn.
