"You're Having A Laugh"
Our next screening is coming up, where we will be screening our 'You're Having A Laugh' programme.
Starting at 2pm (doors open 1.30pm) on Thursday 21 May it will be an afternoon of comedy movies made by former Northamptonshire Cine Club members - with a few films from olden times to complete the bill!
"Films Across The Ages"
For this presentation, we are taking a dip into our archives and putting together a programme of moving images with films which date from the 1920s through to the 1970s (though every decade may not be included.)
The films will cover work and industry, leisure and changes in Northamptonshire. They will include a new ambulance for Higham Ferrers and footage taken in Wellingborough Zoo Park along with a film taken by school children in neighbouring Buckinghamshire and much more.
"Railways"
All things railway related are always popular with our audiences and we are positive this presentation will be no different!
As always, the films will include some footage taken in Northamptonshire including removing track at Wellingborough and footage of train journeys and stations in and around Kettering, Northampton and even Ditchford.
Additional films will cover other aspects of railways a little further from home.
