The Farmhouse
The Farmhouse located within our main house is open 10am - 4pm, Tuesday - Sunday.
The menu has at its heart the wonderfully abundant local produce which is transformed by the kitchen staff into fabulous breakfasts, and lunches with chef’s specials influenced by the seasons.
Please note: We do not take bookings in The Farmhouse. Just pop down and our friendly team will be able to find you a table.

"I recently had the pleasure of enjoying afternoon tea at Chester House, and it was an unforgettable experience from start to finish! The customer service was exceptional, with every staff member going out of their way to ensure a memorable visit. A special shout-out to Renée, our server, who was absolutely fabulous—attentive, friendly, and so knowledgeable about the menu.
The food was divine—delicious, fresh, and beautifully presented. From the delicate finger sandwiches to the freshly baked scones with clotted cream and jam, every bite was a delight. The selection of pastries and cakes was equally impressive, showcasing both flavour and creativity.
Overall, this afternoon tea experience exceeded all expectations. It’s the perfect place for anyone looking to indulge in a relaxing and top-notch treat. Highly recommended!"
