Governance Development Consultant
The Chester House Estate, supported by The National Lottery Heritage Fund, is exploring future governance options to ensure our long-term sustainability and maximise our cultural, tourism and heritage offer.
We are seeking an experienced consultant to lead this pivotal project, developing a robust governance model backed by detailed legal, financial and operational planning. This project proposal will outline a range of viable governance models, including maintaining current council-led operations or transitioning to an alternative structure such as a charitable trust
Key Focus Areas Include:
• Designing and evaluating governance structures
• Legal and financial compliance (Charity Commission, TUPE, procurement)
• Stakeholder engagement and risk mitigation

Marketing Officer
The Marketing Officer will lead dynamic marketing and communications to raise the profile and grow audiences across key heritage and cultural sites including The Chester House Estate, Corby Heritage Centre, Discover Northamptonshire, Cornerstone, The Greenway project, and NN Events.
This role involves creating and delivering integrated campaigns spanning digital, print, PR, social media, events, and stakeholder engagement. You will manage websites, social media, email marketing, ticketing platforms, and print materials to ensure consistent, engaging, and accessible content aligned with organisational priorities.
Key Focus Areas Include:

Planning, producing, and evaluating multi-channel marketing campaigns

Managing digital platforms and social media accounts

Designing promotional materials and overseeing content production

Supporting income-generating initiatives like ticketed events and venue hire

Collaborating with internal teams, PR consultants, and stakeholders

Monitoring budgets and producing audience insight reports

Ensuring GDPR compliance and brand consistency
This is a hands-on role requiring creativity, strategic thinking, and flexibility, including weekend and holiday work to support live events.
