Nenescape award Community Heritage Fund to The Chester House Estate

Nenescape Partnership Scheme Community Heritage Fund awarded to the Chester House Estate

We are absolutely delighted to have been awarded £3000.00 from the Nenescape Partnership Scheme Community Heritage Fund. This key funding will help deliver our Archaeological Archive Centre with improved cataloguing and accessibility of over 23,000 boxes of archaeological finds and associated paper records.

Nenescape have created a small fund offering awards up to £3,000 for primarily volunteer-led projects which help promote, protect and improve access to heritage within the Nene Valley. Through the grant scheme, Nenescape hope to encourage people to discover little and untold stories about the Nene Valley’s landscape, people and industries. They want to provide opportunities for the features, knowledge, and history of this river valley to be recorded, promoted and accessible for future generations.
