We are pleased to announce we are teaming up with Canoe2 at Rushden Lakes.
Richard Nelson, co-founding director of Canoe2, said: “Canoe2 is thrilled to be working in conjunction with our new friends at The Chester House Estate to give our customers the opportunity to explore and discover the rich historical heritage that the River Nene has to offer so close to our base at Rushden Lakes. We are confident this new and exciting destination for canoeing and kayaking will become very popular with our paddlers”
Jack Pishhorn, Business Manager of The Chester House Estate, said: We are delighted to be welcoming Canoe2 guests down to The Chester House Estate from this Summer. The mooring is the result of a lot of hard work on the part of our partners; a lot of it behind the scenes, not least because half of the mooring is on land that is a scheduled monument and the other is in a wildlife conservation area. Our Canoe2 partnership is part of our wider site accessibility programme whereby at the end of this year we aim to be accessible by car, bus, bike, foot and boat.
We will confirm more details and how you can visit us from Canoe2 once our site is open – lookout for this on our Social Media, Website and Monthly Newsletter.
